Invasive Plant Class: Identification and Removal Techniques

Bryan Park Nature Center

This class is open to Richmond Tree Stewards, Friends of Bryan Park and Riverine Master Naturalists and is limited to 30 participants.

There will be a classroom session and an outdoor, hands-on session.

Attendees are asked to prepare as follows:

  • Bring water, garden gloves and any items you prefer for your comfort outdoors (hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, etc.)
  • Long sleeves and long pants are recommended.
  • Shoes that cover the feet are required.  No sandals or similar shoes.
  • Please be aware that you may encounter poison ivy during the outdoor portion of the class.
