The Friends of Bryan Park was organized by concerned citizens of the Richmond area in March of 1994 to work for the preservation and improvement of Joseph Bryan Park.
Our Mission:
- To preserve and maintain Bryan Park in cooperation with organizations for use as a public park for all citizens
- To rehabilitate the azalea gardens, shelters, picnic areas, and other existing facilities
- To promote greater citizen use of Bryan Park by organizing festivals, musical performances, and sporting events
- To encourage the use of Bryan Park as a nature laboratory for students and interested citizens
